On 5th December preparations were made to move the 1928 Thornycroft to Jurby from Ramsey Bus Depot. It was hoped to move the 1964 PD3 also and although it started fairly easily with new batteries, even after lying in store for many years, it could not be moved as the clutch arm bar had sheared off
