So 135 was dismantled to supply us with a good load of spares for the restoration of 134. We decided 134 would be best for restoration as it still retained its double doors. So the plan is to sandblast and paint all the chassis, service all the mechanicals and rebuild and paint the body work. Andy applying filler primer paint Spraying red oxide primr Paint stripping in progress grp panel will be sent off to be rebuilt Front GRP panel being stripped of paint new 20 ton axle stands and air jack With bus in the air we can get better access to the chassis again, we'll get the new sand blaster working finish priming the front of the chassis then get some silvering done, the last few months have been so damp w've not got any work done at all. Roll on dry weather! Up she goes Front brake drum getting sand blasted Front wheel hub and drum redone We've had to sand blast work we've already done as the damp in the hanger has caused a bit of surface rust, we are using epoxy 2 pack paint on the chassis now this stuff is used in the north sea so should be good. Andy armed with the spray gun Good thing with the spray gun it gets in all nooks and crany's The GRP wheel arches have been sanded down and grey gelcoat applied My new compressor and sandblaster Front cross member cleaned up again with sandblater Andy cleaning up a section thats been straightened Another damaged section removed this area will be cleaned with the blaster Damaged section of aluminum removed for repair Repair section cleaned up and red oxide applied Parts of the pipe work cleaned up with sand blaster and painted Work continues on spraying the chassis
